Mission & Vision

The mission of the Church is to glorify God by making disciples through the gospel of Jesus Christ. God’s mission and the mission of His Church are inseparably linked. If God’s mission is to be glorified through the redemption and reconciliation of a people, the Church’s mission must center itself around the glory of God and should seek to glorify Him through redemption and reconciliation.

We desire to be faithful to the commands of scripture highlighted in 2 Corinthians 5. As those who have been reconciled to God through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we are now ambassadors of reconciliation to a lost and broken world. We plead, urge, implore, reason, pray, serve, preach, teach, and gather to see God glorified through reconciliation.

Our Mission and Vision help shape how to work to accomplish that work.

Mission

To make disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus through the Gospel of Jesus.

Vision

We desire to bring the redeeming power of Jesus Christ to the people and culture around us by contending for and contextualizing the Gospel. We desire to be known as a local church that seeks the welfare of the city. We desire to birth a movement of reproducing disciples and, by extension, reproducing churches.

What Is A Disciple?

A disciple is a person who has been reconciled into relationship with God through new birth by trust in the gospel and is subsequently growing in a love for God and love for others.

What Is The Gospel?

Simply stated, the Gospel is the good news of what God has done through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ to secure forgiveness and eternal life for all who repent and believe in Him.
