Our time on Sunday morning is meant to be easy to follow. We allow for some time to say hello to others and re-connect after a long week. We come together to sing songs that celebrate who God is and what He has done for us. We want to learn from the teaching of the Scriptures and then close our time in worship of Jesus through the Lord’s Supper (Communion) and in songs of thanksgiving and praise.

We have age-appropriate learning opportunities for our kids. Learn more about this on our River City Kids page. We encourage families to open and close our Sunday gathering time worshipping together. During the sermon, kids can stay in service and work on provided activity sheets, or we have Sunday school classes for ages 0 through 2nd grade.

Dress is relaxed or however you like, and our music style is a mix of theologically rich hymns and more contemporary praise.

We serve in various ways to help our Sunday gatherings work well and be a welcoming place for people. More hands are always welcomed. More information about helping out on Sundays may be found here.

For special events, such as family Sundays over holiday weekends or Church in the Park events, we may have only one service time (often at either 9 or 10 AM). We encourage you to check our calendar on the front page to stay up-to-date with such events and changes.

More than anything, we enjoy gathering together as a community and invite all to join us.

The essence of our life together is lived out in our Community Groups throughout the Fargo/Moorhead/West Fargo area. We encourage you to connect with one of these communities at any time.

Parking: We do not have our own parking lot, but have use of several lots all around us as well as street parking on Main Ave. We are never allowed to park in the office parking lot across 4th from River City (the red area on the map below) on any day of the week.
