Brett Moser

Lead Pastor/Preaching Pastor

Brett Moser

After seven years of youth and family ministry, Brett has answered the Spirit’s prompting to plant River City. God has given Brett a passion for both sharing the gift of salvation and the lifestyle of Christ’s disciples in today’s world. Jesus said, “If you love me, feed my sheep.” Brett, and his wife Shannon, love Jesus and desire to obey Him as they obey His call to minister in downtown Fargo. Brett’s primary roles at River City are speaking, teaching, missional community development, and discipleship training. In his spare time Brett can be found playing basketball, reffing volleyball and basketball games, and dancing and playing with his daughters, Aunika and Alayna.

Jake Peterson

Worship Pastor/Little Bit of Everything

Brett Moser

As a college student, God gripped Jake’s heart with a vision of the Church living out the Gospel that pushed him into ministry. After 7 years serving as a worship leader and working with college students, God has affirmed the call help plant River City Church. Jake gives leadership to the corporate worship of River City, as well as working to develop the structural components to help River City accomplish its mission of making disciples through the Gospel. As odd as it might sound to some, He enjoys and thrives in the tangible “get it on paper” stuff… Who knew? Jake is married to Amy and they have two wonderful kids, Natalie and Benjamin. Jake enjoys time with his family, a good round of disk golf, playing football, and a hot cup of good coffee.
